18 Artists from The LAMC Nominated For Latin Grammy’s This Year

The Latin Alternative Music Conference (LAMC) issued a release today congratulating all 18 former LAMC performers who are nominated for the Latin Grammy’s, to be held in Las Vegas this week.

The LAMC has been serving the "midas touch" to past performers and artists since it's early beginnings 15 years ago launching the careers of many artists including Zoe and Kinky just to name a few. The LAMC convenes in New York City every year bringing together new talents looking to be discovered while allowing them the opportunity to rub shoulders with the "Who's who" of the Latin Alternative industry including major labels, festival organizers, and television and print media.

Fifteen seems to be the theme this year as the Latin Grammy's celebrate their 15 year anniversary as well. The plan is to celebrate by showcasing a varied and rich selection of artists that include 6 different performers from LAMC 2014: Babasónicos, Ana Tijoux, Juana Molina, Illya Kuryaki & The Valderramas, ChocQuibTown and Caloncho who are all nominated this year.
