On Saturday June 4th, 2011, hundreds of people will meet in DC on the National Mall to walk to raise money for Susan G Komen Race for the Cure. When I was growing up my best friend's mom was diagnosed with breast cancer, and more recently a close friend of mine's mother passed away because of the illness. It is for those reasons I am asking that you consider making a donation or participate in the walk on the National Mall to help find a cure for breast cancer. This Saturday, June 21st the Infield Fest in Baltimore, MD will feature performances by Grammy Winners Bruno Mars and Train, among other artists.
Bruno Mars first made his way onto the scene in 2010 with "Just The Way You Are", making girls everywhere fall in love with his voice and putting his immense talent on full display. In the last year his songs, such as "Grenade" have continued to amaze people and further prove he is no one-hit-wonder!

Yesterday I was lucky enough to get DJ Joe El Especialista on the phone to ask him about his recent promotion. Now in addition to mixing on El Zol’s Rumba Mix on Thursdays at 12pm and Saturdays from 8-10pm on El Power Mix, , one of the DMV’s most loved dj’s has joined the JR and Rey Parker from on JR Al Aire!
